From October 23rd to 24th, 2024, the Second (2024) China Laying Hens Chongqing Forum grandly opened at the Country Garden Hotel in Changshou District. The forum was hosted by Chongqing Animal Husbandry Association and Chongqing Laying Hens Industry Alliance, with the theme of "Focusing on new quality productivity and developing new power for poultry industry", which attracting many leaders and experts to attend this forum. More than 400 people from Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Hubei, Hebei and other provinces gathered to jointly explore the future path of the layer industry.

During the theme report session, Researcher Wu Shugeng from the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences delivered a special report titled "The Road to Egg Freedom in China and the Trends of Differentiated Development", making an in - depth analysis of the development trends of the layer industry. Professor Huang Zuguo from Southwest University's special report "The Hazards of Mycotoxins to Laying Poultry and Prevention and Control Methods" provided effective solutions to the problems in layer farming.
